How to read a FictionAlley Archive story on a Boox e-reader

You can read a FictionAlley Archive story on your Boox by downloading it as an EPUB or PDF, then transferring the file over USB or opening it from an app such as Google Drive.

Download the FictionAlley Archive story

Open the FictionAlley downloader, then find the story you want on fictionalley-archive.org or fictionalley.org.

Choose EPUB or PDF

WP Downloader offers two formats:

You can choose whether to include the story’s images. Select your options, then download the file to your phone or computer.

Move the story to your Boox over USB

If the file is on your computer, you can copy it to your Boox with USB:

Connect your Boox e-reader to the computer with USB.
Copy the EPUB or PDF file to the Boox.
Wait for the file to finish copying, then disconnect the device.
Find the story on your Boox and open it in the built-in reader.

The file stays on the device for offline reading.

Open the story from Google Drive

You can also open the downloaded file from Google Drive. Boox e-readers run Android and can use Android apps.

Download the FictionAlley story with WP Downloader.
Add the EPUB or PDF file to Google Drive.
Open Google Drive on your Boox.
Find the file and open it in a reading app.

This is useful when you downloaded the story on a phone or computer and do not want to transfer it over USB.

Use the built-in reader or another Android app

The built-in Boox reader opens EPUB and PDF files. Since Boox devices run Android, you can also install another Android reading app and use it to open the downloaded story.

Once the file is on your device, you can keep reading it without returning to FictionAlley Archive.

Download the story again when it changes

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. If a FictionAlley Archive story changes, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.

Transfer the new file to your Boox using USB or Google Drive.
