How to read FictionAlley stories offline
WP Downloader lets you save a FictionAlley Archive story as an EPUB or PDF for offline reading. It is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Download the FictionAlley story
Open the FictionAlley story downloader and paste the story URL into the box. A FictionAlley Archive URL usually looks like this:
https://www.fictionalley-archive.org/authors/drt/DA.htmlWP Downloader recognizes links from fictionalley-archive.org and fictionalley.org. FictionAlley downloads do not require an account.
Choose one of the available formats:
- EPUB is free for everyone.
- PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
You can also choose whether to include the story’s images. Download the file and save it somewhere you can find again.

Read the story on a phone
Download the EPUB or PDF to your phone, or transfer a copy that you downloaded on another device.
To read an EPUB:
- Find the downloaded file.
- Open or share it with an EPUB reading app.
- Open the story in the app before going offline.
For a PDF, open the saved file in a PDF reader. Once the file is on your phone, you can read it without loading the FictionAlley website.
Read the story on a tablet
The steps are much the same on a tablet:
- Download the story as an EPUB or PDF.
- Find the file in your downloads or files area.
- Open it with a compatible reading app.
- Check that the story opens before going offline.
If you downloaded the file on a computer, transfer it to your tablet and open it in your reading app.
Read the story on an e-reader
Download the story as an EPUB, then transfer the file using a method supported by your e-reader. Open the transferred file to check the story before going offline.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI or AZW3 files. Its available formats are EPUB and PDF.
Read the story on a computer
Save the EPUB or PDF to your computer and open it with a compatible reader. Use an EPUB reading application for EPUB files or a PDF reader for PDFs.
Keep the file in a folder you can access later. Before going offline, close the file and open it again to check that it was saved on your computer.
Downloading a story again after it changes
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. If the FictionAlley Archive story changes, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
Each download saves the whole story available at that time. You can replace the older file or keep both copies.
