How to Read Fiction.live Stories on a PocketBook
To read a Fiction.live story on a PocketBook, download the complete story as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader. You can then send the file to your reader by email or copy it over USB. EPUB downloads are free, and you do not need a Fiction.live account.
Download the Fiction.live story

Send the file with Send-to-PocketBook
Send-to-PocketBook gives your reader a personal email address. Once you have set it up, you can email an EPUB or PDF to that address and sync the device.
Set up Send-to-PocketBook
On your PocketBook reader:
- Open Settings.
- Choose Accounts and synchronization.
- Select Send-to-PocketBook.
- Sign in and follow the setup instructions.
- Open the activation email you receive.
After activation, you will receive a personal email address ending in @pbsync.com. Use this address when sending books to your PocketBook.
Email the story to your reader
From your usual email account, create a message and attach the EPUB or PDF you downloaded. Send it to your personal @pbsync.com address.
If the file does not arrive, check whether your sending address is on the approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist it before accepting files from that address.
Sync and open the book
Sync your PocketBook after sending the email. When the file appears on the device, open it from your library.
You can keep the original file on your phone or computer as another offline copy.
Transfer the story over USB
You can also copy the file directly from your computer to your PocketBook over USB. This option is useful if you do not want to set up Send-to-PocketBook or an emailed file does not appear.
Connect the PocketBook to your computer, copy the downloaded EPUB or PDF onto the reader, and disconnect the device when the transfer finishes. The book will then be available in the PocketBook library.
Get newly published chapters
The downloaded file contains the story as it was when you created it. It will not receive chapters published later.
To get an updated copy:
- Return to the Fiction.live downloader.
- Paste the story link again.
- Download a new EPUB or PDF.
- Send or copy the new file to your PocketBook.
Each refresh is a new download because WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you already have.
