How to Read a Fiction.live Story on Android
To read a Fiction.live story on an Android phone or tablet, download the whole story as an EPUB and open it in an Android reading app. WP Downloader works in your browser, with nothing to install.
Download the Fiction.live story
Open the Fiction.live downloader in your browser. You can download the file directly to your Android device or use a computer and move the file later.
Copy the story’s Fiction.live URL. It should look like this:

Paste the link into WP Downloader. It detects the site automatically, so you do not need to choose Fiction.live from a menu. Choose whether to include the story’s images, then download the story as an EPUB.
EPUB downloads are free for everyone. PDF is also available after a free Discord sign-in, though EPUB works with dedicated reading apps.

Read the EPUB on your Android device
After the EPUB finishes downloading, open it with an app that supports EPUB files. Google Play Books and Moon+ Reader are two options.
Google Play Books
Google Play Books lets you upload your own DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. You can then read the uploaded story on Android, the web, or an iPhone or iPad.
To read the story on Android:
- Download the EPUB to your Android phone or tablet.
- Open Google Play Books and upload the EPUB from your device.
- Select the uploaded story in Play Books.
You can also upload the EPUB through the Play Books website from your computer or Google Drive, then open it in the Android app.
Very large files can hit Google’s upload size limit. If that happens, open the EPUB directly in another reader.
Moon+ Reader
Moon+ Reader opens EPUB files directly on Android. Find the downloaded EPUB on your device and open it with Moon+ Reader.
The file stays on your device instead of being uploaded to a reading service. Moon+ Reader also has a built-in text-to-speech mode.
Have the story read aloud
Android has several ways to read the story aloud.
Select to Speak is available in Android’s accessibility settings. Turn it on under Settings, then Accessibility. You can then tap items on the screen to hear them read aloud.
Moon+ Reader has a text-to-speech mode for EPUB files. You can also open the EPUB in @Voice Aloud Reader, which reads EPUB files aloud.
All of these options use the text-to-speech voices installed on your device, so the narration will depend on the voices available in your Android settings.
Get new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When the Fiction.live story is updated, return to the downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy. Open the newly downloaded file to read the latest chapters.
