How to Read Fiction.live Stories in KOReader
Download the whole Fiction.live story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, copy the file to your device, and open it from KOReader’s file browser. Once the EPUB is on your device, you can read it offline.
What you need
You will need the Fiction.live story page, a device running KOReader, and a way to copy a file to that device.
KOReader is a free, open-source document reader for Kobo, PocketBook, and Android devices. It also runs on jailbroken Kindles. It opens EPUB and PDF files. This guide uses EPUB because WP Downloader provides that format to everyone for free.
KOReader must already be installed on your device. Installation on Kobo or Kindle is a separate, unofficial process and is not covered here.
Step 1: Copy the Fiction.live story link
Open the story on fiction.live or beta.fiction.live, then copy the URL from your browser’s address bar. It should follow this general pattern:

You do not need to sign in to Fiction.live.
Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the Fiction.live downloader in your browser. WP Downloader is a free web tool, and there is nothing to install.
Paste the Fiction.live story link into the download box. WP Downloader will recognize the site and prepare the whole story.
Choose EPUB for KOReader. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can include the story’s images if you want them in the book.
You can also download a PDF, which KOReader can open, but PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in.
WP Downloader only downloads content that is already available to you. It does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions. Fiction.live support was ported from FanFicFare, the Apache-2.0 open-source fanfiction downloader.

Step 3: Copy the EPUB to your device
After the EPUB downloads, copy it to the device where you use KOReader.
Kobo, PocketBook, or jailbroken Kindle
Connect the device to your computer with USB and copy the EPUB to it as usual. Choose a folder you can easily find from KOReader’s file browser.
Installing KOReader on Kobo or Kindle is unofficial and separate from copying books. The downloaded EPUB does not need to be converted or changed.

Android
Copy the EPUB to your Android device with your usual file-transfer method. Remember which folder you use so you can find the file in KOReader.
If you downloaded the story directly to the Android device, open KOReader’s file browser and go to the folder containing the download.
Step 4: Open the story in KOReader
Open KOReader, use its file browser to find the EPUB, and select the file. You can now read the story offline without returning to fiction.live.
If the author publishes more chapters, download the story again and copy the new EPUB to your device. WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded.
