How to read a Ficbook story on a Boox e-reader
To read a Ficbook story on a Boox e-reader, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and move the file to your device. Since Boox runs Android, you can open the file in its built-in reader or another Android reading app.
What you need
Have these ready:
- The Ficbook story page in your browser
- A phone or computer for opening WP Downloader
- Your Boox e-reader
- A USB cable or access to Google Drive
A Ficbook story URL usually looks like this:

Step 1: Download the Ficbook story
Open the Ficbook downloader in your browser. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install a program or browser extension.
Copy the URL from the Ficbook story page and paste it into the box. WP Downloader detects Ficbook and prepares the whole story for download.
Choose a format:
- EPUB is free for everyone.
- PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
You can also include the story’s images. Start the download and save the finished file somewhere easy to find, such as your Downloads folder.

Step 2: Put the file on your Boox
You can copy the file over USB or open it from Google Drive.

Connect your Boox to your computer with a USB cable. Copy the EPUB or PDF from your computer to a folder on the Boox.
After the transfer finishes, safely disconnect the device. Find the file on your Boox and open it in the built-in reader.
USB is a direct option when the story is already saved on your computer and you do not want to use a cloud app.
Open it from Google Drive
If you downloaded the story on your phone or store your reading files in Google Drive, upload the EPUB or PDF to Drive. Open Google Drive on your Boox and select the story file.
You can then open it in the built-in reader or another compatible Android reading app installed on the device.
Step 3: Start reading
Open the EPUB or PDF on your Boox. If the device asks which app to use, choose the built-in reader or your preferred Android reading app.
Once the file is stored on the device, you can read the downloaded copy without returning to Ficbook. It will not receive new chapters automatically, so repeat the download and transfer process when you want a newer copy.
EPUB is free without a WP Downloader sign-in. PDF is also supported but requires a free Discord sign-in.
