To read a FanficAuthors story on a tolino eReader, download the whole story as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to the Books folder on your tolino. WP Downloader is free and works in your browser, with nothing to install.

Download the FanficAuthors story as an EPUB

Find the story on a FanficAuthors site. Stories are hosted on subdomains of fanficauthors.net, with links that look like this:

Copy the story URL from your browser’s address bar. Use the link to the story itself, not a general site page.

Open the FanficAuthors downloader, paste the link into the box, and wait for WP Downloader to detect the site. You do not need to sign in to FanficAuthors.

Select EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone and works on tolino eReaders. You can also choose whether the EPUB includes the story’s images.

Transfer the EPUB to your tolino

You need your tolino, a computer, and a USB-C cable.

1. Connect the tolino to your computer with the USB-C cable.
2. Wait for the computer to detect the eReader.
3. Open the tolino on your computer.
4. Find the folder named Books.
5. Copy the FanficAuthors EPUB into that folder.
6. Wait for the file to finish copying before disconnecting the cable.

The tolino vision 6, shine 4, and epos 3 use MTP for USB transfers. Open the connected device and copy the EPUB to its Books folder.

Do not unplug your tolino while the file is copying.

Open the story on your tolino

Once the transfer has finished, disconnect the tolino from your computer. Find the EPUB in your books and open it to start reading.

The story is stored on the eReader, so you can read it without leaving the FanficAuthors page open or having an internet connection.

If the author posts new chapters, download the story again with WP Downloader and transfer the new EPUB. WP Downloader cannot add chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded.

Choose the right format
