How to Read FanficAuthors Stories on a reMarkable

To read a FanficAuthors story on a reMarkable tablet, download the complete story as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader, then import the file to your reMarkable. WP Downloader is free, runs in your browser, and does not require an installation.

Download the FanficAuthors story

Find the story you want on a FanficAuthors site. These sites use subdomains ending in fanficauthors.net, and their story links usually look like this:

Copy the main story URL. WP Downloader handles complete FanficAuthors stories, not individual chapters or lists.

Open the FanficAuthors downloader and follow these steps:

1. Paste the story link into the download box.

4. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
5. Download the file to your phone or computer.

EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. You do not need to sign in to FanficAuthors.

The download contains the whole story in one file. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. If the author adds chapters later, download the story again. WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB.

Choose EPUB or PDF for your reMarkable

reMarkable tablets support EPUB and PDF files up to 100 MB, so you can use either format from WP Downloader.

EPUB is a standard ebook format and is available without signing in. Choose PDF if you prefer a fixed-page document and are willing to sign in to WP Downloader with Discord.

Images are included in the downloaded file when you select that option. Check that the finished EPUB or PDF is no larger than reMarkable’s 100 MB limit before transferring it.

Transfer the story with a reMarkable app

You can import the file through the reMarkable desktop or mobile app. Use the app that is connected to your tablet.

1. Open the reMarkable app on your phone or computer.
2. Add the EPUB or PDF you downloaded from WP Downloader.
3. Wait for the file to transfer to your reMarkable.
4. Open the story on the tablet.

The mobile app is useful when you downloaded the story to your phone and do not want to connect a cable.

Upload the story from a web browser

You can also add EPUB and PDF files to a reMarkable from a web browser. Download the story to your computer, open reMarkable’s browser upload service, and select the saved file. After it reaches your tablet, open it from your reMarkable library.

Upload the EPUB or PDF itself, not the original FanficAuthors link. The tablet needs the downloaded file to store and open the story.

Transfer the story over USB

If the story file is on your computer, you can transfer it over a USB cable.

1. Connect your reMarkable tablet to the computer with a USB cable.
2. Open the tablet’s storage settings and turn on the USB web interface.
3. On the connected computer, open a browser and go to:

Reading updated stories
