How to Read FanficAuthors Stories on Android
To read a FanficAuthors story on an Android phone or tablet, download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader and open it in an EPUB reader such as Google Play Books or Moon+ Reader. You can keep the file on your device for offline reading.
Download the FanficAuthors story
WP Downloader is a free web tool, and there is nothing to install. You do not need a FanficAuthors account.
Find the story you want on a fanficauthors.net site. Its address should look like this:

- Open the FanficAuthors downloader in your browser.
- Paste the story link into the box.
- Wait for WP Downloader to detect the site and fetch the story.
- Choose EPUB as the output format.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the finished file to your Android device.
WP Downloader downloads the whole story from FanficAuthors. It cannot download individual chapters or story lists from the site.
EPUB downloads are free for everyone and work with Android reading apps. WP Downloader can also create a PDF with a free Discord sign-in. MOBI, AZW3, and TXT are not available.

Read the EPUB in Google Play Books
Google Play Books accepts your own DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. After uploading the story, you can read it on Android, the web, or an iPhone or iPad.
You can upload the file from the Google Play Books Android app. You can also visit the Play Books website on a computer and upload it from the computer or Google Drive.
When the upload finishes, open Google Play Books on your Android phone or tablet and choose the story from your library. If the upload fails, check the file size. Very large files can reach Google’s upload limit.
Read with Moon+ Reader
Moon+ Reader can open EPUB files on Android. After downloading the story with WP Downloader, open the EPUB in Moon+ Reader.
The app also has a built-in text-to-speech mode. It uses the voices installed on your device, so the narration will sound more or less natural depending on those voices.
Listen with Android accessibility tools
Android’s Select to Speak feature can read items on the screen aloud. Turn it on in Settings under Accessibility, then tap an item to hear it read.
@Voice Aloud Reader is another Android app that reads EPUB files aloud. It also uses your device’s text-to-speech voices.
WP Downloader creates an EPUB or PDF for FanficAuthors stories. It does not turn them into audiobooks.
Get new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you already downloaded. If the author adds chapters, return to the FanficAuthors downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy of the whole story.
WP Downloader retrieves only material that is available to read. It does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.
