How to Read Chaos Stories in the Kindle App
To read a Chaos story in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and send the file to your Kindle library. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Step 1: Copy the Chaos story link
Open the story on chaos.sycophanthex.com and copy its full URL. A Chaos story link looks like this:
http://chaos.sycophanthex.com/viewstory.php?sid=1234Copy the main story page rather than an individual chapter link. WP Downloader downloads complete Chaos stories, not single chapters or lists.
You do not need to sign in to Chaos or WP Downloader.
Step 2: Download the EPUB
Open the Chaos story downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader detects the site and prepares the complete story.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone, and Amazon accepts it through Send to Kindle. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
WP Downloader can create a PDF too, but that option requires a free Discord sign-in. It does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Step 3: Send the EPUB to your Kindle library
Amazon’s Send to Kindle service accepts EPUB files in three ways:
- Upload the EPUB on the Send to Kindle website.
- Use the Send to Kindle app.
- Email the EPUB to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library. You can then open it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.
If you send the file by email, use an approved sender email address for your Kindle account. Files sent from unapproved addresses are not accepted.

Step 4: Open the story in the Kindle app
Open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet and go to your library. After Amazon converts the EPUB, the Chaos story will appear as a book.
Select the story to start reading. If you cannot find it, make sure you sent the correct EPUB and are signed in to the Kindle account that received the file.
Downloading new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. If the author publishes more chapters, return to the Chaos downloader and download the whole story again.
Send the new EPUB to your Kindle library using the same process. It will contain the version of the story that was available when you downloaded it.
