How to Read Chaos Stories in Apple Books

To read a Chaos story in Apple Books, download it with WP Downloader and add the EPUB or PDF to your Library. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so there is nothing to install. Chaos stories do not require an account.

Download a Chaos story

Find the story on chaos.sycophanthex.com. Its address should look like this:

Copy the address and open the Chaos downloader. Paste the link into the box. WP Downloader will detect the site.

Choose a file format:

• EPUB is free for everyone and works with Apple Books.
• PDF also works with Apple Books, but it requires a free Discord sign-in.

You can choose whether to include the story’s images. Start the download and save the finished file to your device.

WP Downloader downloads the whole story. Single chapters and lists are not available for Chaos. The archive’s stories are in English, and you do not need a Chaos account to download them.

Add the story on iPhone or iPad

You can open the downloaded EPUB or PDF from Safari or the Files app.

From Safari’s downloads

1. Open Safari’s downloads after the file finishes downloading.
2. Tap the EPUB or PDF.
3. Tap Share.
4. Choose Books.

Apple Books will import the file into your Library.

From the Files app

If you closed Safari or moved the download, use the Files app:

1. Find the downloaded EPUB or PDF.
2. Tap the file.
3. Tap Share.
4. Choose Books.

The story will open in Apple Books and remain in your Library.

Add the story on Mac

Open the Books app and use either of these methods.

Drag an EPUB into Books

1. Open the Books app.
2. Find the downloaded EPUB.
3. Drag it into the Books app.

Use Add to Library

1. Open the Books app.
2. Choose File, then Add to Library.
3. Select the downloaded file.
4. Add it to Books.

The imported story will appear in your Apple Books Library.

Choose a file format

EPUB is a convenient choice for Apple Books and does not require a sign-in.

You can also use PDF. Apple Books opens PDF files on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, but WP Downloader requires a free Discord sign-in to create one.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

Download newer chapters

WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB that you have already imported. If the author adds chapters, return to the Chaos downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy. You can then add the new file to Apple Books using the same steps.
