How to Put a FictionHunt Story on a Kindle With Calibre and USB
You can put a FictionHunt story on your Kindle without Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. First download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader. You can then add it to calibre, convert it to AZW3, and copy it to your Kindle over USB.
What you need
Have these ready before you begin:

- A FictionHunt account
- A computer running Windows, macOS, or Linux
- The free calibre e-book manager
- Your Kindle and a USB cable

Step 1: Copy the FictionHunt story link
Open the story on fictionhunt.com and copy its full address. FictionHunt story URLs follow this format:

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the FictionHunt downloader and paste the story URL into the box. You can also paste it on the WP Downloader home page, which will detect that it is a FictionHunt link.
Downloading from FictionHunt requires you to sign in with your account for that site. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It can download only material your account can already read and cannot bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.
Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone and can be converted to AZW3 with calibre. Select the image option before downloading if you want to include the story’s pictures.

Step 3: Add the EPUB to calibre
Open calibre and select Add books. Find the EPUB you downloaded and add it to your calibre library.
You can edit the book’s metadata or cover before converting it, though this is optional. calibre’s e-book viewer also lets you check the EPUB and includes a Read aloud feature for listening on your computer.
Step 4: Convert the EPUB to AZW3
Select the FictionHunt story in your calibre library and choose Convert books. Set AZW3 as the output format, then start the conversion.
AZW3 is a Kindle format that can be copied to the device over USB. calibre can also convert EPUB files to MOBI or PDF.
Amazon’s Send to Kindle service no longer accepts MOBI files, but Kindle e-readers still open MOBI and AZW3 files copied over USB. This method transfers the converted book through calibre instead of Amazon’s service.
Step 5: Transfer the story to your Kindle
Connect the Kindle to your computer with its USB cable. Once calibre recognizes it, select the FictionHunt story and choose Send to device.
After the transfer finishes, you can read the story offline on your Kindle.

Getting new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you have already downloaded. When the FictionHunt story gets new chapters, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
