How to listen to FictionHunt stories with text-to-speech
To listen to a FictionHunt story, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and open the file in a reading app that supports text-to-speech. You can then listen on your phone, tablet, or computer, including while offline.
Download the FictionHunt story as an EPUB

Download the finished EPUB file to your device.

Listen on an iPhone or iPad
Apple Books opens EPUB files, and the built-in Speak Screen accessibility feature reads the displayed text aloud.
Open Settings and go to Accessibility, then Spoken Content. Turn on Speak Screen. Open the downloaded EPUB in Apple Books and go to the part of the story you want to hear.
Swipe down with two fingers from the top of the screen to have the page read aloud.
Speak Screen uses the text-to-speech voices installed on your device, so the narration will sound more or less natural depending on the available voices.
Listen on Android
Android has several ways to read a downloaded FictionHunt EPUB aloud.
Use Select to Speak
Open Settings, go to Accessibility, and turn on Select to Speak. You can then tap items on the screen to hear them read aloud.
Open the story in an app that displays EPUB files, then use Select to Speak on the text you want to hear.

You can use a desktop EPUB reader to listen at your computer.
Use Thorium Reader
Thorium Reader is free and available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It opens EPUB files and has a read-aloud feature.
Open the downloaded FictionHunt EPUB in Thorium Reader, go to the chapter you want, and start the read-aloud feature.
Use calibre
calibre is another free desktop option. Its e-book viewer opens EPUB files and has a Read aloud feature.
Add or open the FictionHunt EPUB in calibre, launch it in the e-book viewer, and select Read aloud. The narration will depend on the text-to-speech voices installed on your computer.
Keep your downloaded copy current
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When a FictionHunt story gets new chapters, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
