How to Download Marvel Fanfiction as EPUB or PDF
Marvel fanfiction is available on AO3, Wattpad, and Quotev. WP Downloader also supports the Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive for X-Men stories. The free web tool saves supported stories as EPUB or PDF files, and there is nothing to install.
Supported Marvel fanfiction sites
WP Downloader works with AO3, Wattpad, Quotev, and the Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive. See the full list of supported fiction sites to check another archive.
FanFiction.net is not supported.
WP Downloader detects the source website from the link, so you do not need to choose a fandom before downloading. Support for AO3, Quotev, the Wolverine & Rogue Fanfiction Archive, and the other fiction archives was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader.
How to download Marvel fanfiction
1. Open the story
Open the individual story on its original website. For archive sites such as AO3 and Quotev, WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It does not download individual chapters or lists from these sites.
2. Copy the story link
Copy the URL from your browser’s address bar. On a phone, the browser’s share menu usually has an option to copy the link.
3. Paste the link into WP Downloader
Open the WP Downloader home page and paste the link into the box. The tool will detect whether the story comes from AO3, Wattpad, Quotev, or another supported site.
4. Choose EPUB or PDF
Choose one of the available formats:
- EPUB is free for everyone.
- PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
5. Download the book
Download the EPUB or PDF when it is ready. If the author adds chapters later, submit the story again to create a new file. WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB.
Downloading Avengers fanfiction as EPUB
To save Avengers fanfiction as an EPUB, open the work on AO3, Wattpad, Quotev, or another supported archive and paste its direct story link into WP Downloader.
EPUB is free and does not require a Discord sign-in. PDF is also available with a free Discord sign-in.
For an AO3 work, see the guide to downloading AO3 fanfiction. For a Quotev work, use the Quotev story download guide.
Downloading Marvel fanfiction from Wattpad
You can download public Wattpad stories without a Wattpad account. If you sign in with your Wattpad account, WP Downloader can also download paid stories that your account owns and stories from your library or archive.
Wattpad support covers whole stories, single parts, and reading lists. The other supported fiction archives allow whole-story downloads only.
WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the story you request. It can download only material your account is already allowed to read, and it does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.
When you paste a single Wattpad story link, WP Downloader shows a “Listen to audiobook” button. The button opens Audora, a sister service that turns the story into an audiobook. It is available only for single Wattpad stories, not stories from AO3, Quotev, or other archives.
Tips for downloading Marvel fanfiction
Use the direct URL for the story. On the additional fiction archives, WP Downloader downloads individual stories rather than fandom pages, collections, chapters, or lists.
Choose whether to include images before creating the book. To get chapters added after your download, submit the story again and create a new file.
Some supported archives offer an optional account sign-in for members-only stories, while a few require an account. WP Downloader can access only the stories and chapters that the signed-in account can already read.
