How to Download FicWad Stories as EPUB or PDF
WP Downloader is a free web tool that saves whole FicWad stories as EPUB or PDF files. You do not need to install anything. Copy the story URL, paste it into WP Downloader, and choose a format.
How to download a FicWad story
Open the FicWad story and copy its address from your browser. A story URL looks like this:

- Open the WP Downloader home page.
- Paste the complete FicWad story URL into the download box.
- Wait for WP Downloader to detect FicWad from the link.
- Choose EPUB or PDF.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the file.
For FicWad and the other fiction archives supported through FanFicFare, WP Downloader downloads whole stories. It does not download individual chapters or lists of stories.
If the author adds chapters later, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy. The tool cannot update an EPUB you already saved.
Which FicWad URL to use
Use the URL for the story itself. A valid FicWad story link contains the story path and its numeric ID:

Signing in to FicWad
You do not need to sign in to download a public FicWad story. You can sign in when you want to download a members-only story that your FicWad account can read.
WP Downloader only downloads content your account can already access. It does not bypass paywalls, locked content, or age restrictions. Your account credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested.
Support for FicWad and the other additional fiction archives was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader released under the Apache-2.0 license.
Choosing EPUB or PDF
EPUB is free for everyone. Choose it if you want the whole FicWad story in an EPUB file. If you need a reading app, see the guide to EPUB readers for downloaded stories.
PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. Choose it if you want the story as a PDF file.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
Including story images
WP Downloader has an option to include the story’s images in the EPUB or PDF. Select it before creating the file if you want the images included. Leave it off if you only want the text.
Reading a FicWad story on Kindle
After downloading the story, follow the Send to Kindle guide if you want to send the file to a Kindle. WP Downloader does not create Kindle-specific MOBI or AZW3 files, so use one of the available formats.
Once the downloaded file is in your reading app or on your device, you can read the saved story offline.
