Count Superlove Reading in Apple Books Reading Goals
WP Downloader lets you download a Superlove story and import it into Apple Books. PDFs can add to your Apple Books Reading Goals when Include PDFs is turned on. Apple does not say whether EPUB files you import yourself count, but you can check by reading for a minute or two and watching your daily reading time.
Download a Superlove story
WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything. Open the Superlove downloader and copy the URL of the story you want. A Superlove story link looks like this:

You can download the story in either of these formats:
- EPUB, which is free for everyone.
- PDF, which requires a free Discord sign-in.
You can also choose to include the story’s images.
For Superlove, WP Downloader saves whole stories. It cannot download a single chapter or a list. If the author adds new chapters, download the story again to get a new copy. WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you already downloaded.
You do not need a Superlove account for public stories. Signing in with an account from the site lets WP Downloader fetch members-only stories that account can read. Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you request. WP Downloader cannot bypass paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions.

Add the story to Apple Books
Apple Books opens EPUB and PDF files on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. After you import the story, it will appear in your Library.
On an iPhone or iPad
After the file downloads:
- Open it from the Files app or Safari’s downloads.
- Tap the Share button.
- Choose Books.
Apple Books will open the file and add it to your Library.
On a Mac
Open the Books app and drag the EPUB into it. You can also choose File, then Add to Library, and select the file.
The imported story will appear in your Apple Books Library.
How Apple Books Reading Goals work
Apple Books Reading Goals track how many minutes you read each day and how many books and audiobooks you finish each year. The default daily goal is five minutes.
On an iPhone or iPad, you can change your daily goal from the Reading Now tab. On a Mac, you can change it from Home.
Apple explains how PDFs are handled but does not say whether EPUB files that you import yourself add to your daily reading time.
Check whether your Superlove EPUB counts
To check an imported EPUB in Apple Books:
- Note today’s reading time in Reading Goals.
- Open the imported Superlove EPUB.
- Read for a minute or two.
- Return to Reading Goals and check whether today’s reading time increased.
If the time goes up, Apple Books is counting the EPUB on your device. If it stays the same, the reading did not add to the displayed daily total.
Make a Superlove PDF count
PDF reading only counts toward an Apple Books Reading Goal when Include PDFs is turned on.
On a current version of iOS:
- Open Settings.
- Choose Apps.
- Choose Books.
- Turn on Include PDFs.
On older versions of iOS, open Settings, choose Books, and turn on Include PDFs.
Once the setting is enabled, open the imported Superlove PDF in Apple Books and read it there. You can confirm that it counts by checking your daily minutes before and after reading.
Choose EPUB or PDF
EPUB is free for everyone and does not require a Discord sign-in. Since Apple does not document whether personally imported EPUB files count toward daily reading time, use the short test above to check yours.
PDF requires a free Discord sign-in and has a documented Reading Goals setting. Turn on Include PDFs if you want reading the PDF to add to your daily minutes.
