Add Imagine: The List Stories to Your Calibre Library
To add an Imagine: The List story to calibre, first download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader. You can then import the file, edit its metadata and cover, convert it to another format, or transfer it to an e-reader.
Download the story with WP Downloader
WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything. Open the Imagine: The List downloader and copy the link to the story you want.

WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the requested story and does not bypass access restrictions.

Add the EPUB to calibre
calibre is a free e-book manager for Windows, macOS, and Linux. After downloading the EPUB:
- Open calibre on your computer.
- Select Add books.
- Find the downloaded EPUB file.
- Select it and add it to your library.
The story will appear with the other books in your calibre library. Select it to review its details or open it in calibre’s e-book viewer.
Adding each downloaded story to calibre gives you one place to browse and manage your collection.
Edit the metadata and cover
calibre lets you edit a book’s metadata and cover after importing it. You can correct a title, make author names consistent, or adjust other library details.
Choose a naming system that suits your collection. For example, you could leave each downloaded title unchanged while standardizing the author names.
Read or listen in calibre
Open the imported EPUB in calibre’s e-book viewer to read it on your computer. Since the file is stored locally, you can read your downloaded copy without opening Imagine: The List.
The viewer also has a Read aloud feature if you prefer to listen to the story.
Convert the story to another format
WP Downloader provides EPUB files for everyone and PDF files after a free Discord sign-in. It does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
calibre can convert the downloaded EPUB to formats such as AZW3, MOBI, or PDF. Keeping the original EPUB in your library gives you a source file that you can convert again if you change devices or need another format later.
Send the story to an e-reader over USB
calibre can transfer books to a connected e-reader over USB. Connect the device to your computer and wait for calibre to recognize it. Select the story, then use calibre’s device transfer option.

Update an ongoing story
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When a story is updated, paste its link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
Add the new EPUB to calibre and check its metadata. You can then keep the older edition or remove it from your active library. If you converted the previous copy for an e-reader, convert the new EPUB before transferring it.

Can calibre open an Imagine: The List story directly from its URL?

Do I need an Imagine: The List account?
Public stories do not require an account. Signing in is optional and allows WP Downloader to reach members-only stories that your account can read.
Can WP Downloader create an AZW3 or MOBI file?

Will calibre automatically receive new chapters?

Can I download only one chapter?
