How to Send Star Trek Fan Fiction Stories to Kindle
To read a story from trekfanfiction.net on your Kindle, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and upload the file through Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library. You can then read it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.
What you need
Find the page for the complete story you want to read. Star Trek Fan Fiction story URLs follow this format:
https://trekfanfiction.net/writer/a-story-name/ You do not need to sign in to trekfanfiction.net. Its stories are in English, and WP Downloader saves the complete story rather than a single chapter or a list.
You also need access to the Amazon account connected to your Kindle or Kindle app.
Step 1: Download the story with WP Downloader
WP Downloader is a free web tool, and there is nothing to install.
- Open the Star Trek Fan Fiction downloader.
- Paste the story URL into the download box.
- Choose EPUB as the output format.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Start the download and save the EPUB to your device.
Anyone can download an EPUB for free. WP Downloader can also create a PDF, but that requires a free Discord sign-in.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. Send to Kindle accepts EPUB files, while MOBI files are no longer accepted.
See the full guide to downloading Star Trek Fan Fiction stories for more help with this step.
Step 2: Send the EPUB to Kindle
You can send the EPUB to your Kindle library through the Send to Kindle website, the Send to Kindle app, or email.
Use Send to Kindle on the web
Open Amazon’s Send to Kindle service in your browser and select the EPUB you downloaded. Submit it through the Amazon account connected to your Kindle.
Amazon converts the file and adds the story to your Kindle library. Once processing is complete, you can open it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.
Use the Send to Kindle app
Open Amazon’s Send to Kindle app and select the EPUB from your device. Send it to the Kindle library associated with your Amazon account.
Once Amazon has converted the file, open your Kindle library and select the story.
Send the EPUB by email
Attach the EPUB to an email and send it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
You must send the message from an approved email address. If the sender is not approved for your Kindle account, Amazon will not deliver the file to your library.
The Send to Kindle guide has more information about each delivery method.
Step 3: Open the story on your Kindle
After Amazon converts the EPUB, find the story in your Kindle library. You can open it on your Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.
For other reading options, see how to read Star Trek Fan Fiction on Kobo or read Star Trek Fan Fiction offline.
Getting new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you have already downloaded. If the author adds more chapters, download the complete story again to get the newer version.
You can send the new EPUB to Kindle through the website, app, or email.
