How to Read Whofic Stories on a Barnes & Noble NOOK

Download the Whofic story as an EPUB
Find the story on whofic.com and open its main story page. A Whofic story URL looks like this:

Move the EPUB to a NOOK GlowLight
Barnes & Noble calls copying your own files to a NOOK “sideloading.” You will need the EPUB, your NOOK GlowLight, a USB cable, and a computer.
1. Connect the NOOK
Connect the NOOK GlowLight to your computer with the USB cable. It should appear as a drive named “NOOK.”
On newer models, enable file transfers after connecting:
- Swipe down from the top of the NOOK screen.
- Tap “USB for charging.”
- Choose “Transfer files (MTP).”
You can then access the NOOK’s storage from the computer.
2. Copy the story
Find the EPUB you downloaded with WP Downloader. Drag it onto the NOOK drive and wait for the transfer to finish.
3. Eject the NOOK
Eject the NOOK from your computer before unplugging the USB cable. After disconnecting it, open the transferred EPUB on the NOOK to read the story offline.
Get new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When the Whofic story is updated, return to the Whofic downloader, paste its link again, and download a new copy of the complete story.
