Read Whofic Stories in Google Play Books
To read a story from A Teaspoon And An Open Mind, also known as Whofic, in Google Play Books, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and upload the file to Play Books. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so there is nothing to install.
Download the Whofic story
Find the story on whofic.com. Its URL should look similar to this:

- EPUB is free for everyone.
- PDF requires a free Discord sign-in.
Either format can be uploaded to Google Play Books. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images. Download the file and save it somewhere easy to find.
You do not need a Whofic account. WP Downloader saves the complete story, not a single chapter or a list of stories. If the author adds chapters later, download the story again to create a new file. The tool cannot update an EPUB you already have.

Upload from a computer
Google Play Books accepts DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. To upload the story from a computer:
- Open the Google Play Books website.
- Select its upload option.
- Choose the EPUB or PDF from your computer or Google Drive.
- Wait for Google Play Books to process the file.
- Open the book and start reading.
The uploaded story will appear in your Play Books library. You can read it on the web or in the Google Play Books app on Android, iPhone, or iPad.
Very large stories may reach Google’s upload size limit. If that happens, try downloading the story again without its images to make the file smaller.
Upload from Android
You can upload EPUB and PDF files through the Google Play Books Android app. Download the Whofic story to your phone with WP Downloader, then use the app’s upload option to add the saved file.
Once Google Play Books has processed the file, open the story from your library. This lets you download, upload, and read the story without using a computer.
Read on iPhone or iPad
To read the story on an iPhone or iPad, first upload the EPUB or PDF through the Play Books website. You can select the file from your computer or Google Drive. Then open Google Play Books on your iPhone or iPad and choose the story from your library.
Choose a file format
Both WP Downloader formats work with Google Play Books:
- Choose EPUB for the free option.
- Choose PDF if you prefer it and are willing to sign in with Discord for the download.
