How to Read Whofic Stories in Apple Books
To read a story from A Teaspoon And An Open Mind, also known as Whofic, in Apple Books, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and add the file to your Books library. This works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, and lets you read the story offline.
Download the Whofic story
WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything. Open the Whofic Downloader to get started.
Find the story on whofic.com and copy its URL. A Whofic story link looks like this:

Choose a format:
- EPUB is free for everyone and opens in Apple Books.

Add the story to Apple Books on iPhone or iPad
After the download finishes, open the file from Safari’s downloads or the Files app and share it to Apple Books.
From Safari’s downloads
- Open Safari’s downloads.
- Tap the downloaded EPUB or PDF.
- Tap the Share button.
- Choose Books from the sharing options.
Apple Books will import the story into your Library.
From the Files app
Open the Files app and find the downloaded EPUB or PDF. Tap the file, open the Share menu, and choose Books.
The story will appear in your Apple Books Library, where you can open it for offline reading.
Add the story to Apple Books on Mac
After downloading the story to your Mac:
- Open the Books app.
- Drag the downloaded EPUB into the Books window.
You can also open Books, choose File, then Add to Library, and select the story file. The imported book will appear in your Library.
Apple Books can open PDF files as well as EPUB files.
Get new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB already stored in your Apple Books Library. If the author adds chapters to the Whofic story, return to the Whofic Downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy.
Import the new file into Apple Books using the same steps.
