Read Wattpad Stories in Apple Books on iPhone, iPad or Mac

WP Downloader lets you download a Wattpad story as an EPUB and open it in Apple Books on an iPhone, iPad or Mac. It is a free web tool, and you do not need to install anything.

Download a Wattpad story as an EPUB

Open the WP Downloader home page and copy the link for the Wattpad story you want. A story URL usually looks like this:

https://www.wattpad.com/story/123456789-story-title

To download the story:

Paste its Wattpad link into the box.
Wait for WP Downloader to detect the site.
Choose EPUB.
Choose whether to include the story’s images.
Download the EPUB.

EPUB downloads are free for everyone. You can also create a PDF, which Apple Books can open, after signing in with a free Discord account.

Public Wattpad stories do not require an account. If you sign in with Wattpad, you can download paid stories your account owns and stories from your library or archive. WP Downloader uses your account only to fetch the story you requested and can access only the content you can already read. It does not bypass paywalls, locked chapters or age restrictions.

You can also download one Wattpad part or an entire reading list. Download the whole story if you want a single EPUB for your Apple Books library.

Add the story to Apple Books on iPhone or iPad

Once the EPUB has downloaded, open it from the Files app or Safari’s downloads.

Open the EPUB.
Tap Share.
Choose Books.
Wait for Apple Books to open.

The story will appear in your Apple Books Library.

You can add a PDF in the same way. Open the file, tap Share and choose Books. It will then appear in your Library.

Add the story to Apple Books on Mac

Download the Wattpad story as an EPUB, then add it to Books in either of these ways:

Open the Books app and drag the EPUB into it.
Open the File menu in Books, choose Add to Library and select the EPUB.

The imported story will appear in your Apple Books Library.

You can use the same methods for a PDF created by WP Downloader. EPUB is the more direct choice if you want to save the story as a book.

Download new chapters

WP Downloader cannot add chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When the author publishes new chapters, return to the Wattpad downloader, paste the story link and download the story again.

Add the new EPUB to Apple Books by following the same steps for your iPhone, iPad or Mac.

Read the story elsewhere
