How to read a Voracity's New Realms story on a NOOK

To read a Voracity’s New Realms story on a Barnes & Noble NOOK, download the whole story as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to your NOOK over USB. Barnes & Noble calls this “sideloading.”

Download the story as an EPUB

Find the story you want on voracity2.e-fic.com. Its address should look like this:

The number at the end will be different for each story. Copy the full story URL from your browser, then:

1. Open the Voracity’s New Realms downloader.
2. Paste the story link into the box.
3. Choose EPUB as the output format.
4. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
5. Download the finished EPUB.

EPUB downloads are free for everyone. WP Downloader can also make a PDF after a free Discord sign-in, but use EPUB for this guide.

For Voracity’s New Realms, WP Downloader downloads whole stories only. It does not download single chapters or lists. Support for this archive was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0.

Move the EPUB to your NOOK

Connect your NOOK GlowLight to your computer over USB. The NOOK should appear as a drive named “NOOK.” Open the drive and drag the downloaded EPUB onto it.

On newer models, first change the USB connection mode:

1. Swipe down from the top of the NOOK screen.
2. Tap “USB for charging.”
3. Choose “Transfer files (MTP).”
4. Open the NOOK on your computer.
5. Copy the EPUB to the device.

Wait for the transfer to finish, then eject the NOOK from your computer before unplugging it.

Open the story on your NOOK

After disconnecting the NOOK, open the transferred EPUB on the device.

To get chapters published later, download the whole story again and transfer the new EPUB to your NOOK. WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB already on the device.
