Add the EPUB with Dropbox

Kobo Forma, Kobo Sage, Kobo Elipsa, Kobo Elipsa 2E, and Kobo Libra Colour can import non-protected EPUB and PDF files from Dropbox. The e-reader must have software version 4.18 or later.

Link your Dropbox account from the e-reader, put the EPUB in the connected cloud folder, and sync the Kobo. The story will then appear in the library on that device.

Google Drive is available on Kobo Forma, Kobo Sage, Kobo Elipsa, Kobo Elipsa 2E, and Kobo Libra Colour with software version 4.37 or later.

To connect your account:

1. On the Kobo Home screen, select More.
2. Select My Google Drive.
3. Select Get Started.
4. Note the code shown on the Kobo.
5. Enter the code on the Kobo website as directed.
6. Put the EPUB in the connected Google Drive folder.
7. Sync the e-reader.

After the Kobo syncs, the story will appear in its library. Books imported through Google Drive appear only on the device where you added them.

Choose a transfer method

USB works with Kobo e-readers and does not require a cloud account. Use Dropbox or Google Drive if your Kobo model and software version support the service and you prefer to transfer the EPUB through the cloud.
