How to Read Twilighted Stories Offline on a Flight

Download the Twilighted story before you leave, open it on the device you plan to use, and test it in airplane mode. Once the EPUB or PDF is stored on your device, you can read it without Wi-Fi.

Download the story before your flight

WP Downloader is a free web tool with nothing to install. You need an internet connection and a Twilighted account that can access the story.

1. Find the story on twilighted.net.
2. Copy its full URL. It should look like this:

3. Open the Twilighted downloader.

Prepare a phone or tablet

Download the EPUB or PDF directly to your phone or tablet while you have an internet connection. Open an EPUB in an EPUB reader or a PDF in a PDF reader.

Make sure the file itself is stored on the device. A story link or a file that remains online will not be available without a connection.

Open the story before leaving, then turn on airplane mode and try it again. Check that you can move between its chapters or pages.

Prepare a Kindle

Amazon’s Send to Kindle service accepts EPUB and PDF files. You can send a file in any of these ways:

• Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
• Use the Send to Kindle app.
• Use Send to Kindle on the web.

Amazon converts an EPUB, then adds the book to your Kindle library on Kindle e-readers and in the Kindle app. If you send the file by email, the sender’s address must be on your approved sender list.

Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files, so use the EPUB from WP Downloader. The service needs an internet connection to deliver the book. Send it before your flight, wait for it to appear in your library, and download or open it on the Kindle device or app you are taking with you.

Prepare a Kobo

Download the Twilighted story as an EPUB while you are online, then put the file on the Kobo you plan to carry. Open it once before leaving to confirm that the book is available.
