How to read TONFA stories on an Android phone or tablet
To read a story from TONFA: The Original Naruto Fanfic Archive on an Android phone or tablet, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and open the file in Google Play Books or another EPUB reader. Download the TONFA story with WP Downloader
WP Downloader is a free web tool, and there is nothing to install.
Find the story you want on TONFA. Its address should look like this:

Google Play Books lets you upload a book and read it on the web or on your Android devices.

- Upload it from the Google Play Books app on your Android phone or tablet.
Once the upload is complete, open Google Play Books on your Android device and look for the story among your uploaded books.
Google Play Books accepts DRM-free EPUB and PDF files. A very large story may reach Google’s upload size limit.
Use another Android EPUB reader
Moon+ Reader can open EPUB files directly on your device. Download the story with WP Downloader, find the EPUB on your phone or tablet, and open or import it in Moon+ Reader.
This is a simple option if you mainly read on one device and do not want to upload the book to Google Play Books.
Listen to the story on Android
Android’s Select to Speak accessibility feature can read items on the screen aloud. Turn it on in Settings, under Accessibility, then use it while viewing the story.
You can also use an EPUB reader with a read-aloud option:
- Moon+ Reader opens EPUB files and has built-in text-to-speech.
- @Voice Aloud Reader reads EPUB files aloud.
Both use the text-to-speech voices installed on your device, so the narration depends on the voices available in your Android settings.
Get updated chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When a TONFA story is updated, paste its link into the downloader again and download a new copy.
The new EPUB will contain the whole story as it appears at the time of the download, including the new chapters. You can remove the older copy from your reading app if you no longer need it.
