How to Read Stories of Arda on a reMarkable

To read a Stories of Arda story on a reMarkable tablet, download it as an EPUB or PDF with WP Downloader and transfer the file using a reMarkable app, a web browser, or a USB cable. WP Downloader is a free web tool, and you do not need a Stories of Arda account.

Download the Stories of Arda story

Find the story on storiesofarda.com, open its chapter list page, and copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar. The link should look like this:

Open the Stories of Arda downloader, then:

1. Paste the story URL into the download box.
2. Wait for WP Downloader to identify Stories of Arda.

WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. Those formats are not needed here because reMarkable accepts EPUB and PDF.

Transfer the story with the reMarkable app

You can transfer the file with the reMarkable desktop app on a computer or the mobile app on a phone.

1. Find the EPUB or PDF you downloaded.
2. Open the reMarkable app.
3. Import or upload the file.
4. Wait for it to appear on your reMarkable tablet.
5. Open the story on the tablet.

If you downloaded the file to your phone, use the mobile app. If it is on your computer, use the desktop app.

Upload the story from a web browser

You can also upload EPUB and PDF files to reMarkable from a web browser. This works well when the story is already on your computer.

Open reMarkable’s browser-based file service, select the downloaded EPUB or PDF, and upload it. When the file appears on your tablet, open it with your other documents.

Make sure you upload the downloaded story file, not the Stories of Arda web page or its URL.

Transfer the story over USB

To transfer the file from a computer over USB:

1. Connect the reMarkable tablet to the computer with a USB cable.
2. Turn on the USB web interface in the tablet’s storage settings.
3. Open 10.11.99.1 in a browser on the connected computer.
4. Upload the EPUB or PDF.
5. Open the story on the tablet.

The exact path to the USB web interface setting can vary between reMarkable software versions. Check the tablet’s storage settings if you do not see it where expected.

Keep your offline copy current

After transferring the file, you can read it on your reMarkable without returning to the Stories of Arda page. If the author publishes more chapters, download and transfer the story again.

Each download creates a new book from the story currently available. WP Downloader does not add chapters to the copy already on your tablet. After checking that the new file is on your reMarkable, you can rename or remove the older copy.
