How to Read Stories of Arda in the Kindle App
To read a Stories of Arda story in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and send the file to your Kindle library. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so there is nothing to install.
What you need
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- The chapter-list URL for the Stories of Arda story
- Access to WP Downloader in a web browser
- The Kindle app on your phone or tablet
- Access to Amazon’s Send to Kindle service
A Stories of Arda link usually looks like this:
http://www.storiesofarda.com/chapterlistview.asp?SID=1234Use the chapter-list URL instead of a link to an individual chapter. WP Downloader downloads the whole story from Stories of Arda. It does not download single chapters or story lists from this site.
Step 1: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the Stories of Arda downloader and paste the story URL into the box. WP Downloader will recognize it as a Stories of Arda link.
Select EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and Amazon accepts EPUB files through Send to Kindle. You can also choose whether to include the story’s images.
Download the EPUB and save it somewhere you can access Send to Kindle, such as your phone, tablet, or another device.

Step 2: Send the EPUB to your Kindle library
Amazon’s Send to Kindle service accepts EPUB files and converts them for your Kindle library. You can send the file in three ways:
- Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web
- Use the Send to Kindle app
- Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address
Files sent by email must come from an approved sender email address.
You do not need to convert the EPUB to MOBI or AZW3. WP Downloader does not produce either format, and Send to Kindle no longer accepts MOBI files.

Step 3: Open the story in the Kindle app
Once Amazon has processed the EPUB, the story will appear in your Kindle library. Open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet, find the story in your library, and tap it to begin reading.
The book can also appear on Kindle e-readers connected to the same library. If you cannot find it, check that the app is using the Kindle library to which you sent the file. You should also confirm that Amazon accepted the upload or email.
Getting new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you have already downloaded. If the author publishes more chapters, download the whole story again and send the new EPUB through Send to Kindle.
The new file will contain the version of the story that was available when you downloaded it.
EPUB or PDF?
EPUB is the simplest format for this guide because Amazon accepts it and converts it for the Kindle library.
WP Downloader can also create a PDF, but PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in. Amazon accepts PDFs through Send to Kindle as well. WP Downloader does not offer MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
