How to Read stck.me Stories Offline

stck.me stories are serialized: a new chapter every few days, often dozens in a story. Reading them on the site means staying online and opening each chapter separately. Saving the story as a book file puts everything you can read in one place, offline, with a proper table of contents.

Download the story once

1. Copy the story’s link from stck.me (a chapter link works too).
2. Open the stck.me Downloader and paste it.
3. Sign in with your stck.me email and password.
4. Choose EPUB (free) or PDF (free Discord sign-in) and click Download.

EPUB or PDF?

EPUB suits almost every stck.me story. It reflows to your screen, lets you change font and spacing, and keeps a chapter-by-chapter table of contents. Writers on stck.me often style titles and dialogue with special characters and emoji; EPUB readers on phones handle those best.

Choose PDF for a fixed layout, for example to print a story or to read it on a laptop exactly as generated.

Opening the file on your device

Android

Open the EPUB in ReadEra, Moon+ Reader or Google Play Books (upload it under Library → Upload files).

iPhone and iPad

Tap the downloaded file in the Files app and choose Books. Apple Books keeps your place across devices.

Kindle

Kobo and other e-readers

Copy the EPUB over USB, or add it through Calibre.

Computer

Open the EPUB with Calibre or Thorium Reader, or the PDF with any PDF viewer.

Keeping up with ongoing stories

When new chapters come out, download the story again. Each download includes everything you can read at that moment. The same goes for chapters you unlock later: after following the writer or buying chapters, download again and they’ll be in the new copy instead of a note.

Tips

• Locked chapters keep their place. A chapter you can’t read yet shows up as a short note at its normal spot in the table of contents, so you always know what’s missing and why.
• Include Images adds the pictures writers put at the top of chapters. Leave it off for a smaller, faster download.
• Use one account. Follows and purchases count for the stck.me account you saved in WP Downloader, so make sure it’s the one you follow and buy with.
