How to Read SquidgeWorld Stories Offline
WP Downloader saves SquidgeWorld Archive stories as EPUB or PDF files. Once the file is on your phone, tablet, e-reader, or computer, you can open it in a compatible reading app without returning to the story page.
Download the SquidgeWorld story
WP Downloader is a free web tool, with nothing to install. Start on the SquidgeWorld Downloader page and have the story link ready. A SquidgeWorld Archive story URL looks like this:

- Copy its URL from your browser.
- Open the SquidgeWorld Downloader page.
- Paste the URL into the download box.
- Choose EPUB or PDF.
- Choose whether to include the story’s images.
- Download the file to your device.
EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
WP Downloader saves the complete story from SquidgeWorld Archive. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories. For more help with the download process, read How to Download SquidgeWorld Stories.
Members-only stories
You can download public stories without signing in to SquidgeWorld Archive. Signing in with your account lets WP Downloader reach members-only stories that the account can read.
WP Downloader only downloads content already available to your account. It cannot bypass members-only access, locked content, or age restrictions. Your account credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested.
SquidgeWorld Archive support was ported from FanFicFare, the open-source fanfiction downloader licensed under Apache-2.0.
Choose EPUB or PDF
Choose EPUB if you plan to use an EPUB-compatible reading app. Choose PDF if you want to open the story in a PDF reader.
If you want both formats, you can return to WP Downloader and download the story again.
Read offline on a phone or tablet
Find the downloaded EPUB or PDF in your browser’s downloads or your device’s file manager.
To open an EPUB:
- Tap the downloaded file.
- Select an EPUB-compatible reading app if your device asks.
- Add or import the file into the app.
- Open the book from the app when you want to read.
Open a PDF in a PDF-compatible app. Keep the downloaded file if you want to move it to another device later.
Read offline on an e-reader
Download the story as an EPUB, then transfer it to your e-reader using the method supported by your device.
Kindle and Kobo use different transfer methods. Follow the guide for your reader:
WP Downloader does not provide MOBI or AZW3 files. Use the EPUB with the appropriate device guide.
Read offline on a computer
Save the EPUB or PDF somewhere you can find it again, such as your downloads folder. Open the EPUB in an EPUB-compatible reader or the PDF in a PDF-compatible viewer.
Get new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you have already downloaded. If the author publishes more chapters, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
The new file will contain the complete story available to you at the time of the download.
