Choose EPUB or PDF
The built-in Boox reader opens EPUB and PDF files, so either format will work. Choose EPUB if you want to download without signing in. Choose PDF if you prefer it and do not mind signing in with Discord.
WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files. You do not need any of those formats for a Boox.
Once the download finishes, keep the EPUB or PDF somewhere you can access while transferring it to the e-reader.
Copy the story over USB
If the story is on your computer, you can copy it to your Boox with a USB connection.
- Connect the Boox e-reader to your computer with USB.
- Open the Boox storage on the computer.
- Copy the downloaded EPUB or PDF to the device.
- Finish the transfer and disconnect the Boox.
- Find the file on the e-reader and open it in the built-in reader.
The file will remain on the Boox for offline reading. Follow the same steps for any other SIYE stories you download.
Open the story from Google Drive
You can also transfer the file through an Android app such as Google Drive. Make the EPUB or PDF available in Google Drive, then open the Drive app on your Boox. Select the story and open it in the built-in reader or another compatible Android reading app.
Since Boox e-readers run Android, you can install and use other reading apps that support EPUB or PDF files.
Get new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When an author updates a story, return to the SIYE downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy.
The new file will contain the whole story available at the time of the download. Transfer it to your Boox through USB or Google Drive.
