How to Read Quotev Stories on a tolino eReader

To read a Quotev story on a tolino eReader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file into the “Books” folder on your tolino. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so there is nothing to install and no Quotev account is needed.

What you need

Quotev stories are in English. A story link usually looks like this:

Step 1: Download the Quotev story as an EPUB

Open the Quotev Downloader.

1. Copy the story URL from quotev.com.
2. Paste it into WP Downloader.
3. Wait while the tool detects the site and fetches the story.
4. Choose EPUB.
5. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
6. Download the EPUB to your computer.

You do not need to sign in to Quotev. WP Downloader only downloads content that is available to read. It does not bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.

Step 2: Connect your tolino to the computer

Connect the tolino to your computer with its USB-C cable, then wait for the computer to detect it.

The tolino vision 6, shine 4, and epos 3 use MTP for USB transfers. Open the tolino on your computer once it appears.

Step 3: Copy the EPUB into the Books folder

1. Open the tolino on your computer.
2. Find and open the “Books” folder.
3. Copy the Quotev EPUB into that folder.
4. Wait for the file to finish copying.

Do not unplug the tolino while the file is being copied. Once the transfer is complete, disconnect the reader and open the EPUB on your tolino.

Getting new chapters later

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already downloaded. If the author adds chapters to the Quotev story, download the complete story again and copy the new EPUB to your tolino with the same USB-C process.

If both copies remain on the reader, check which version you want to keep.
