How to Read Missing Pieces Stories on a PocketBook E-Reader

Find the story you want on pretendercentre.com. Its URL will look like this:

Option 1: Use Send-to-PocketBook

3. Select Send-to-PocketBook.
4. Sign in and follow the activation steps.
5. Open the activation email you receive.

After activation, you will have a personal address ending in @pbsync.com.

Attach the EPUB or PDF from WP Downloader to an email and send it to that address. Then sync your PocketBook to receive the book.

If the file does not arrive, check whether your sending address is on the approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist the address before it accepts the attachment.

Option 2: Transfer the file over USB

Connect your PocketBook to your computer with a USB cable, then copy the EPUB or PDF onto the reader.

Copy the book file created by WP Downloader, not the Pretender Centre web link.

Update your offline copy

The EPUB or PDF on your PocketBook is a separate copy of the story. It will not update automatically when the author adds chapters to Missing Pieces.

To get the latest version:

1. Return to the story page on pretendercentre.com.
2. Copy the same story URL.
3. Paste it into WP Downloader again.
4. Download a new EPUB or PDF.
5. Transfer the new file to your PocketBook.

You can use Send-to-PocketBook or USB each time.
