How to Read Pretender Centre Stories in the Kindle App
To read a Missing Pieces story from Pretender Centre in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and send the file to your Kindle library. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Download the story
Find the story on pretendercentre.com. A Missing Pieces story link looks like this:

Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free, and Amazon’s Send to Kindle service accepts and converts EPUB files for your Kindle library.
You can include the story’s images if you want them in the book. WP Downloader downloads the entire story from Missing Pieces. It cannot download a single chapter or a list from this site. You do not need to sign in to Pretender Centre.
WP Downloader can also create a PDF, but this requires a free Discord sign-in. Send to Kindle accepts PDF files as well.

Send the EPUB to Kindle
After saving the EPUB, add it to your Kindle library using one of these methods:
- Upload it on the Send to Kindle website.
- Use the Send to Kindle app.
- Email it to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
Files sent by email must come from an approved sender address for your Kindle account.
Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library. You can then open it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.

Open the story in the Kindle app
Open the Kindle app and check your library. Select the story once it appears.
If you plan to read offline, open the story on your device before going offline to make sure it is available there.
The full process is:
- Copy the Missing Pieces story link.
- Download the whole story as an EPUB with WP Downloader.
- Send the EPUB to your Kindle library.
- Open the story in the Kindle app.
Download updated chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When the author updates the story, download the whole story again.
Send the new EPUB to Kindle using the same method. This file will contain the version of the story available when you downloaded it.
