NOOK models that appear as a drive

Look for a drive named “NOOK” on your computer after connecting the device. Open the drive and drag the downloaded EPUB onto it.

Wait for the transfer to finish. Eject the NOOK from your computer before unplugging the USB cable.

Newer NOOK models

A newer model may initially use its USB connection only for charging. To transfer files:

1. Swipe down from the top of the NOOK screen.
2. Tap “USB for charging.”
3. Choose “Transfer files (MTP).”
4. Open the NOOK storage on your computer.
5. Drag the downloaded EPUB onto the device.
6. Wait for the transfer to finish, then eject the NOOK before disconnecting it.

The story is now stored on your NOOK and can be read offline.

Download new chapters later

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. When the author updates the story, return to the Potions and Snitches downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy.

Transfer the new EPUB to your NOOK with the same USB steps. Keep the older file until you have checked that the new copy opens.
