How to read an NCISFiction story on a PocketBook e-reader

To read an NCISFiction story on a PocketBook e-reader, download the complete story with WP Downloader and transfer the file by email or USB. PocketBook reads EPUB and PDF files, so either available format will work.

WP Downloader is a free web tool with nothing to install. Once you transfer the story to your PocketBook, you can read it offline.

Download the NCISFiction story

Find the story on ncisfiction.com or classic.squidge.org. An NCISFiction story address looks like this:

Copy the complete story link from your browser. WP Downloader downloads whole stories from this archive, not individual chapters.

Open the NCISFiction downloader and follow these steps:

1. Paste the NCISFiction story link into the download box.
2. Wait for WP Downloader to detect the site.
3. Choose EPUB or PDF.
4. Select the image option if you want to include the story’s images.
5. Download the file to your phone or computer.

EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. Both formats work on PocketBook e-readers, though EPUB usually works well for reading on an e-reader.

Send the EPUB to PocketBook by email

Send-to-PocketBook gives your reader a personal email address. You can send an EPUB or PDF to that address and sync the reader to receive it.

Set up Send-to-PocketBook

On your PocketBook reader:

1. Open Settings.
2. Select Accounts and synchronization.
3. Select Send-to-PocketBook.
4. Sign in and follow the setup instructions.
5. Open the activation email and complete the activation.

You will then receive a personal address ending in @pbsync.com.

Email and sync the story

Attach the EPUB or PDF from WP Downloader to an email and send it to your @pbsync.com address. Sync your PocketBook to receive the file.

If the file does not arrive, check whether your sending email address is on the approved list. Send-to-PocketBook may ask you to whitelist the address before accepting attachments from it. Approve the address, send the file again, and sync the reader.

Copy the story with a USB cable

You can also transfer the story from a computer with a USB cable.

Connect your PocketBook to the computer. When the reader appears on the computer, copy the downloaded EPUB or PDF to it. After the transfer is complete, safely disconnect the reader and open the story from its library.

USB is also useful if email delivery is delayed or your sending address has not been approved.

Keep your PocketBook copy current

WP Downloader does not add new chapters to an EPUB already stored on your PocketBook.

When the author publishes more chapters, return to the NCISFiction downloader, paste the story link again, and download a new copy. Transfer the new file with Send-to-PocketBook or USB.
