How to Read NCISFiction Stories in the Kindle App
To read an NCISFiction story in the Kindle app, download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, send the file to Amazon, and open it from your Kindle library.
WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything. You can use it from a phone, tablet, or any other device with a web browser.
Step 1: Copy the NCISFiction story link
Open the story on ncisfiction.com or classic.squidge.org and copy its address from your browser.
An NCISFiction story URL looks like this:
https://ncisfiction.com/viewstory.php?sid=1234 Copy the complete story link. WP Downloader downloads whole NCISFiction stories, not individual chapters or story lists.
Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the NCISFiction Downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader detects the source and prepares the story for download.
Choose EPUB for the Kindle app. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and Amazon’s Send to Kindle service accepts and converts EPUB files for your Kindle library.
You can choose whether to include the story’s images. PDF is also available, but it requires a free Discord sign-in. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
You do not need an NCISFiction account for public stories. You can sign in with an account from that site to download members-only stories that the account can already read. WP Downloader uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It does not bypass account restrictions or other access limits.
For more help with downloading, see how to download NCISFiction stories.
Step 3: Send the EPUB to Kindle
Once the EPUB has downloaded, add it to your Kindle library with Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. You can submit the file in three ways:
- Use Send to Kindle on the web.
- Use the Send to Kindle app.
- Attach the EPUB to an email sent to your Kindle’s Send-to-Kindle address.
Files sent by email must come from an approved sender email address. Amazon converts the EPUB after receiving it, then adds the story to your Kindle library.
You do not need a Kindle-specific MOBI or AZW3 file. Send to Kindle accepts EPUB and no longer accepts MOBI.
See the Send to Kindle guide for more details, or follow the guide to sending NCISFiction stories to Kindle.
Step 4: Open the story in the Kindle app
Open the Kindle app on your phone or tablet and find the converted story in your library. Select it to begin reading.
You can download the EPUB on your mobile device or send it to Kindle from another device. In either case, submit it through one of Amazon’s supported Send to Kindle methods so it appears in your Kindle library.
To use a Kobo device or app instead, see the guide to reading NCISFiction stories on Kobo.
Downloading new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you downloaded earlier. If the author adds chapters to an unfinished NCISFiction story, download the complete story again.
Send the new EPUB to Kindle in the same way. It will contain the version of the story that was available when you downloaded it.
