How to read a Midnight Whispers story on a PocketBook
To read a Midnight Whispers story on a PocketBook, download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader. You can then transfer the file through Send-to-PocketBook or with a USB cable. WP Downloader is free, requires no installation, and does not require you to sign in to Midnight Whispers.
Download the Midnight Whispers story
Find the story on midnightwhispers.net or midnightwhispers.ca and open its main story page. Do not use a link to an individual chapter. A typical story link looks like this:

Send the EPUB with Send-to-PocketBook
Send-to-PocketBook lets you transfer the downloaded EPUB to your reader by email.
1. Set up Send-to-PocketBook
On your PocketBook, open Settings, then Accounts and synchronization, followed by Send-to-PocketBook.
Sign in to the service. PocketBook will send you an activation email. Once you activate the service, you will receive a personal Send-to-PocketBook address ending in @pbsync.com.
2. Email the story
Create an email from your usual account and attach the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader. Send it to your personal @pbsync.com address.
The service may ask you to approve or whitelist your sending address. If it does, add that address to the approved list before trying again.
3. Sync your PocketBook
Connect the PocketBook to the internet and sync it. Once the story appears on the reader, you can open it and read offline.
If the book does not arrive, check that:
- You completed the activation step.
- You sent the EPUB to the correct
@pbsync.comaddress. - You attached the EPUB to the email.
- Your sending address is on the approved list.
- You synced the reader after sending the email.
Copy the story over USB
You can also transfer the EPUB directly from a computer with a USB cable. This is useful if you prefer not to use email or Send-to-PocketBook is not working.
Download the story to your computer, connect the PocketBook by USB, and copy the EPUB to the reader. When the transfer finishes, disconnect the PocketBook and open the story on the device.
You can transfer a PDF in the same way. EPUB is available without signing in and is the format used in these instructions.
Get updated chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you have already downloaded. If the Midnight Whispers story is updated, paste its story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
Transfer the new EPUB to your PocketBook by email or USB. Keep it separate from the earlier copy until you have confirmed that it opens.
