How to read a GoodNovel story on a tolino eReader
To read a GoodNovel story on a tolino eReader, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and copy the file to the Books folder on your tolino. WP Downloader is free to use in your browser, with nothing to install.
What you need
Have these ready:
- The page for the GoodNovel story you want to read
- A computer
- Your tolino eReader
- A USB-C cable
WP Downloader works with GoodNovel stories in English. You do not need to sign in to GoodNovel. The EPUB will contain only the free chapters, so any paid chapters will be left out.
Step 1: Copy the GoodNovel story link
Open the story on goodnovel.com and copy its URL from your browser’s address bar. It should look like this:

Step 2: Download the EPUB
Open the GoodNovel downloader and paste the story link into the box. WP Downloader will detect that the link is from GoodNovel.
Select EPUB as the output format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and tolino eReaders can read the format. You can also choose whether the EPUB should include the story’s images.
Start the download and save the finished file somewhere you can find it on your computer.

Step 3: Connect the tolino by USB-C
Connect your tolino to the computer with its USB-C cable and wait for the computer to detect it.
The tolino vision 6, shine 4, and epos 3 use MTP for USB transfers. These models may appear as connected devices instead of regular removable drives. Open the device to see its folders.
Step 4: Copy the EPUB to the Books folder
Open the tolino’s storage and find the Books folder. Copy or move the EPUB you downloaded into that folder.
- Open the connected tolino.
- Open the Books folder.
- Copy the GoodNovel EPUB into it.
- Wait for the transfer to finish.
Do not unplug the tolino while the file is copying. Once the transfer is complete, the EPUB will be available on the reader.
About the downloaded story
The EPUB contains only the GoodNovel chapters that are free to read. WP Downloader does not buy or unlock paid chapters.
GoodNovel downloads cover the whole story. You cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories.
The EPUB will not update when the source story changes or gains new chapters. Download the story again to get a new EPUB.
