How to Read Free GoodNovel Chapters Offline

WP Downloader lets you save the free chapters of a GoodNovel story as an EPUB or PDF. You can then open the file in a compatible reading app when you are offline. The tool is free to use on the web, with nothing to install.

Download the GoodNovel story

Copy the link to the story you want to read. A GoodNovel story URL looks like this:

Then:

1. Open the GoodNovel Downloader.
2. Paste the story link into the box.
3. Choose EPUB or PDF.
4. Choose whether to include the story’s images.
5. Download the file to your device.

EPUB is free for everyone. PDF requires a free Discord sign-in. You do not need to sign in to GoodNovel.

GoodNovel downloads cover the whole story rather than a single chapter or list, but the file contains only the free chapters. Paid chapters are left out. WP Downloader does not buy or unlock them.

Choose EPUB or PDF

Choose the format that works with the reading app or device you plan to use. WP Downloader creates EPUB and PDF files. It does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.

EPUB text can adjust to different screen sizes in a compatible reading app. A PDF has a fixed page layout, so you may need to zoom when reading on a small screen.

Read offline on an iPhone or iPad

Download the EPUB or PDF, then open it with an app that supports that format. If it opens in the wrong app, use the sharing menu to choose another reader.

Open the story once before going offline to make sure the file is available in the app.

Read offline on an Android phone or tablet

Find the EPUB or PDF in your Downloads folder and open it with a compatible reading app. Depending on the app, you may need to import the file into its library.

If the file does not open, check that the app supports the format you downloaded.

Read offline on a Kindle

Download the story as an EPUB or PDF, then transfer it using a method supported by your Kindle. Make sure the book appears in the Kindle library before going offline.

If the e-reader requires another format, WP Downloader cannot create that format.

Save the EPUB or PDF somewhere you can find it, then open the file with a compatible reading app. Keep the downloaded file on the computer so you can open it without returning to the GoodNovel page.

WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB. If more free chapters become available, download the story again to create a new file.
