Read GoodNovel Stories in KOReader
Download the free chapters of a GoodNovel story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, copy the file to your device, and open it from KOReader’s file browser.
What you need
WP Downloader is a free web tool, with nothing to install. KOReader is a separate free, open-source reader for EPUB and PDF files.
KOReader runs on:
- Kobo devices
- PocketBook devices
- Android devices
- Jailbroken Kindles
Installing KOReader on a Kobo or Kindle is a separate, unofficial process. This guide assumes it is already installed on your device.
Download the GoodNovel story as an EPUB
Find the story on goodnovel.com. Its URL will look like this:
https://www.goodnovel.com/book/Seducing-My-Ex-s-Father-In-Law_31000825294Copy the complete story URL and open the GoodNovel downloader. Paste the link into the box. WP Downloader will recognize it as a GoodNovel story and prepare the download.
Choose EPUB for KOReader. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and you can include the story’s images if you want them in the book.
You can also download a PDF, which KOReader supports, after signing in with a free Discord account. WP Downloader does not create MOBI, AZW3, or TXT files.
You do not need a GoodNovel account. WP Downloader handles the whole story in one download, rather than individual chapters or lists. The file includes only free chapters. It does not buy or unlock paid chapters.

Copy the EPUB to your device
Transfer the downloaded EPUB to the device where you use KOReader.
Kobo or PocketBook
Connect the e-reader to your computer by USB and copy the EPUB to the device as usual. Disconnect it, open KOReader, and find the EPUB in its file browser.

Android
Move the EPUB to your Android phone or tablet with your usual file-transfer method. In KOReader, browse to the folder containing the file and select the EPUB.
Saving downloaded books in a familiar folder will make them easier to find in KOReader’s file browser.
Jailbroken Kindle
KOReader runs on jailbroken Kindles, although installing it is a separate, unofficial process. If KOReader is already installed, copy the GoodNovel EPUB to the Kindle and open it from the file browser.

Getting new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add chapters to an EPUB you already have. When more free chapters become available, paste the GoodNovel story link into WP Downloader again and download a new copy.
Transfer the new EPUB to your device and open it in KOReader. It will include the free chapters available when you downloaded it, while paid chapters will remain excluded.
