How to Read FanFiktion.de Stories in KOReader
You can read a FanFiktion.de story in KOReader by downloading the whole story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, copying the file to your device, and opening it from KOReader’s file browser. The German-language story will then be available offline.
What you need
You need the story’s URL, WP Downloader’s FanFiktion.de downloader, and a device that runs KOReader.
KOReader is a free, open-source document reader for Kobo, PocketBook, and Android devices. It also runs on jailbroken Kindles. Installing it on a Kobo or Kindle is a separate, unofficial process.
WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything. EPUB downloads are free for everyone. PDF downloads require a free Discord sign-in, but EPUB works well for this guide.
Step 1: Copy the FanFiktion.de story link
Open the story on fanfiktion.de and copy its URL from your browser’s address bar. A story URL looks like this:

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader
Open the FanFiktion.de downloader and paste the URL into the box. WP Downloader will detect the site.

Kobo or PocketBook
Connect the e-reader to your computer with USB and copy the EPUB to the folder where you keep your books.

Jailbroken Kindle

Step 4: Open the story in KOReader
Open KOReader and use its file browser to find the folder containing the EPUB. Select the file to start reading.
The story is stored on your device, so you can read it without returning to FanFiktion.de. If the author later adds chapters, download the story again. WP Downloader does not add new chapters to an existing EPUB.
EPUB or PDF for KOReader?
