Read Fanfics.me Stories in Apple Books

To read a Fanfics.me story in Apple Books, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and import the file on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The imported story will appear in your Apple Books Library.

What you need

WP Downloader is a free web tool, and there is nothing to install. You need:

• A link to the Fanfics.me story
• A web browser
• Apple Books on an iPhone, iPad, or Mac

For Fanfics.me, WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It cannot download a single chapter or a list.

Step 1: Download the Fanfics.me story

Open the Fanfics.me downloader and paste the story URL into the box. WP Downloader will detect that the link is from Fanfics.me.

Select EPUB as the format. EPUB downloads are free for everyone, and Apple Books can open them directly. You can also include the story’s images.

PDF is available with a free Discord sign-in and also opens in Apple Books. Once WP Downloader has created the book, save the file to your device.

Fanfics.me stories are in Russian. You do not need to sign in to download public stories. If a story is restricted to members, you can sign in with your Fanfics.me account so WP Downloader can access stories that account is allowed to read. Your credentials are used only to fetch the story you requested. WP Downloader cannot bypass paywalls, locked content, or age restrictions.

Step 2: Add the file on iPhone or iPad

Find the downloaded EPUB in Safari’s downloads or the Files app.

1. Open the EPUB file.
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Select Books.
4. Wait for Apple Books to import the file.

The story will appear in your Apple Books Library. Tap its cover or title to read it.

If you downloaded a PDF, open it and use the same Share menu to add it to Books.

Step 3: Add the file on Mac

Download the Fanfics.me story to your Mac, then import the EPUB in either of these ways:

• Open the Books app and drag the EPUB into it.
• In Books, choose File, then Add to Library, and select the EPUB.

The imported story will appear in your Library. You can add a PDF in the same way.

Getting new chapters

WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB that you have already imported. When the author publishes more chapters, paste the story link into WP Downloader again and download the whole story as a new file. You can then import the new EPUB into Apple Books.
