How to Read Eros & Sappho Stories in the Kindle App

To read an Eros & Sappho story in the Kindle app, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and send the file to your Kindle library. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.

What you need

Find the Eros & Sappho story page you want to read. Its address should look like this:

You will also need access to Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. It accepts EPUB and PDF files and converts them for your Kindle library.

You do not need an Eros & Sappho account to download a story with WP Downloader.

Step 1: Download the Eros & Sappho story

Open the Eros & Sappho downloader in your browser.

Copy the address of the story page from erosnsappho.sycophanthex.com.
Paste the address into WP Downloader.
Choose EPUB as the output format.
Choose whether to include the story’s images.
Download the EPUB file.

EPUB downloads are free for everyone. WP Downloader can also create a PDF after a free Discord sign-in, but Send to Kindle accepts EPUB directly.

For Eros & Sappho, WP Downloader downloads the whole story. It cannot download a single chapter or a list. If the author adds chapters later, download the story again to create a new EPUB. WP Downloader cannot update an existing EPUB.

Step 2: Send the EPUB to your Kindle library

Send the downloaded EPUB to Amazon in one of three ways:

Upload it through Send to Kindle on the web.
Add it through the Send to Kindle app.
Email it to your personal Send-to-Kindle address.

Files sent by email must come from an approved sender address.

Amazon converts the EPUB and adds the book to your Kindle library. You can then open it on a Kindle e-reader or in the Kindle app.

Step 3: Open the story in the Kindle app

After Amazon converts the EPUB, open the Kindle app and find the story in your library. Select it to begin reading.

The full process is:

Download the whole story as an EPUB with WP Downloader.
Send the EPUB through Send to Kindle.
Open the converted book from your Kindle library.

If the story changes later

The EPUB contains the story as it was when you downloaded it. New chapters will not be added automatically.

When the story is updated, use WP Downloader to download the whole story again. Send the new EPUB to your Kindle library as another upload.
