Read a Dokuga Story in KOReader
Start by downloading the complete Dokuga story as an EPUB with WP Downloader. Copy the file to your Kobo, PocketBook, Android device, or jailbroken Kindle, then open it from KOReader’s file browser. You can read the downloaded story without keeping the Dokuga page open.

KOReader is a free, open-source document reader for Kobo, PocketBook, and Android devices. It also runs on Kindles that have been jailbroken. Installing KOReader on Kobo or Kindle is a separate, unofficial process, so this guide assumes it is already installed.
Step 1: Download the Dokuga story
Open the Dokuga downloader and paste the story URL into the box. WP Downloader will detect the site and prepare the complete story.
Choose EPUB to read the story in KOReader. EPUB is free for everyone, and KOReader can open it directly. PDF is also available, but creating one requires a free Discord sign-in.
To keep artwork or other images from the story, select the option to include its images.
Members-only stories
You can sign in with your Dokuga account if you want to download a members-only story that the account can already access. Public stories do not require an account.
WP Downloader uses your account credentials only to fetch the story you requested. It cannot bypass membership requirements, paywalls, locked chapters, or age restrictions. It downloads only the content your account is allowed to read.

Step 2: Copy the EPUB to your device
Once the download finishes, find the EPUB on your phone or computer. How you copy it depends on the device running KOReader.
Kobo or PocketBook
Connect the e-reader to your computer with USB and copy the EPUB to the device as usual. When the transfer finishes, disconnect the device and open KOReader.

Android
Copy the EPUB to a folder that KOReader can access. A file downloaded directly to the Android device may already be there. If the file is on a computer, move it to the device with your usual Android file-transfer method.
Jailbroken Kindle
KOReader can run on a jailbroken Kindle. Copy the EPUB to the Kindle over USB, then locate it in KOReader.

Step 3: Open the story in KOReader
Open KOReader and use its file browser to find the folder containing the EPUB. Select the file to start reading.
KOReader can also open PDF files, and the transfer process is the same. EPUB is available without signing in, while a PDF download requires a free Discord sign-in.
The downloaded book is a separate file and has no live connection to Dokuga. WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an existing EPUB. When the story is updated, paste its link into the downloader again and download a new copy.
