Copy the EPUB to your Kobo with USB

USB works by copying the downloaded EPUB from your computer to the Kobo.

1. Connect your Kobo e-reader to your computer with a USB cable.
2. Wait for the Kobo to appear as a drive.
3. Open the Kobo drive.
4. Copy the EPUB file onto it.
5. Eject the Kobo safely.
6. Disconnect the cable.

The story will appear in your Kobo library. You can open it like any other EPUB and read it without an internet connection.

Add the story through Dropbox

The following Kobo models can add non-protected EPUB and PDF files through Dropbox when running software version 4.18 or later:

Google Drive requires Kobo software version 4.37 or later and works on these models:

On the Kobo, open Home, then More, then My Google Drive, and select Get Started. The e-reader will show a code. Enter it on the Kobo website to link your Google Drive account.

Put the EPUB in the linked Google Drive folder and sync your Kobo. The story will then appear in the device’s library. Books added through Google Drive appear only on that Kobo.

Use USB if your Kobo does not support Dropbox or Google Drive.

Get new chapters
