Read Ashwinder Stories in Apple Books
To read an Ashwinder story in Apple Books, download it as an EPUB with WP Downloader and import the file on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything.
Download the Ashwinder story
Find the story on ashwinder.sycophanthex.com. Its address should look like this:

Choose EPUB as the output format. EPUB is free for everyone and opens directly in Apple Books. You can also include the story’s images.
WP Downloader downloads the complete story from Ashwinder. It cannot download a single chapter or a list of stories. If the author adds more chapters, download the story again to make a new EPUB with the available chapters. The tool cannot update an EPUB you already downloaded.
You do not need to sign in for public stories. If a story is for members only, you can sign in with your Ashwinder account so WP Downloader can access it. The tool uses your credentials only to fetch the story you requested and can download only what your account is allowed to read. It cannot bypass locked content, paywalls, or age restrictions.
Save the EPUB when the download finishes. The steps for importing it depend on your device.
Read the story on an iPhone or iPad
You can find the downloaded EPUB in Safari’s downloads or the Files app.
- Open Safari’s downloads or the Files app.
- Find the Ashwinder EPUB.
- Open the Share menu.
- Choose Books.
Apple Books will import the EPUB into your Library. Open Books, go to your Library, and tap the story to read it.
If the file is not immediately visible after downloading it in Safari, check Safari’s Downloads area or the Downloads folder in Files. Once you find the EPUB, share it to Books.
Apple Books also opens PDF files. WP Downloader can create a PDF, but that option requires a free Discord sign-in. EPUB is free for everyone and is the usual choice for reading the story as an ebook.
Read the story on a Mac
You can add the downloaded EPUB to the Books app by dragging it into the app or using the library menu.
Drag the file into Books
- Open the Books app.
- Find the downloaded EPUB in Finder.
- Drag it into the Books window.
- Open your Library and select the story.
Use Add to Library
Open Books, choose File, and then choose Add to Library. Select the Ashwinder EPUB to import it. The story will appear in your Library.
You can import a PDF in the same way. Apple Books supports both EPUB and PDF files on Mac.
Keep your Ashwinder copy current
The imported book contains the story as it appeared when you downloaded it. Apple Books does not fetch later chapters from Ashwinder, and WP Downloader cannot add chapters to an existing EPUB.
When the author updates the story, return to the Ashwinder downloader, paste the link again, and download a new copy. You can then import the new file into Books.
