How to put a Twilighted story on Kindle via USB with calibre
You can put a Twilighted story on a Kindle without using Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. First download the whole story as an EPUB with WP Downloader. You can then add it to calibre, convert it to AZW3, and transfer it to your Kindle over USB.
You will need a Windows, macOS, or Linux computer. WP Downloader is a free web tool, so you do not need to install anything to download the story. For the conversion and USB transfer, use calibre, a free e-book manager.

A Twilighted story URL usually looks like this:

Step 1: Download the Twilighted story as an EPUB
Open the Twilighted downloader and paste the story URL into the box.

Step 2: Add the EPUB to calibre
Open calibre and select Add books, then choose the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader.
The story will appear in your calibre library. You can edit its metadata or cover before converting it if you want to organize how the book appears on your Kindle.

Step 3: Convert the story to AZW3
Select the story in your calibre library and choose Convert books. Set AZW3 as the output format, then start the conversion.
AZW3 is a Kindle format and works with books transferred over USB. Calibre can also convert EPUB files to formats such as MOBI or PDF.
Amazon’s Send to Kindle service no longer accepts MOBI files, but Kindle devices can still open MOBI and AZW3 files copied over USB. Converting to AZW3 gives you a Kindle file that you can transfer directly.
Step 4: Connect the Kindle and send the book
Connect your Kindle to the computer. After calibre recognizes it, select the converted story and choose Send to device.
Calibre will copy the book to the Kindle over USB. When the transfer finishes, disconnect the Kindle and look for the story in its library.

Updating a story with new chapters
WP Downloader cannot add new chapters to an EPUB you already have. When a Twilighted story is updated, download the whole story again. Add the new EPUB to calibre, convert it, and transfer the new copy to your Kindle.
