Put a Midnight Whispers Story on Kindle With calibre
To put a Midnight Whispers story on a Kindle without Amazon’s Send to Kindle service, download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader. You can then use calibre to convert it to AZW3 and transfer it to your Kindle over USB.

This method transfers the book directly from your computer. Amazon’s Send to Kindle service no longer accepts MOBI files, but Kindle e-readers can still open MOBI and AZW3 files copied over USB.

Step 1: Copy the Midnight Whispers story link
Open the story on midnightwhispers.net or midnightwhispers.ca, then copy its address from your browser.

Step 2: Download the story with WP Downloader

Step 3: Add the EPUB to calibre
Open calibre and select Add books. Find the EPUB from WP Downloader and add it to your calibre library.
Before converting the book, you can edit its metadata or cover to change how it appears on your Kindle.
You can also check the story in calibre’s e-book viewer. The viewer has a Read aloud feature if you want to listen on your computer.
Step 4: Convert the EPUB to AZW3
Select the story in your calibre library and choose Convert books. Set AZW3 as the output format, then start the conversion.
AZW3 is a Kindle format that you can transfer over USB. calibre can also convert EPUB files to MOBI or PDF, but AZW3 gives you a Kindle-compatible copy without using Amazon’s online delivery service.
You can keep the original EPUB in your calibre library. calibre can store multiple formats of the same book.
Step 5: Connect your Kindle by USB
Connect your Kindle to the computer with its USB cable. After calibre recognizes the device, select the converted story and choose Send to device.
calibre will transfer the Kindle-compatible file to the connected e-reader. When the transfer finishes, you can read the story offline on your Kindle.

Getting new chapters later
WP Downloader cannot update an EPUB you have already downloaded. When the author publishes more chapters, return to the Midnight Whispers downloader and download the complete story again.
