How to Put a Lois & Clark Fanfic Story on Kindle with Calibre
You can put a story from the Lois & Clark Fanfic Archive on your Kindle without using Amazon’s Send to Kindle service. Download the complete story as an EPUB with WP Downloader, convert it to AZW3 in calibre, and transfer it to your Kindle over USB.
What you need

Step 1: Copy the story link
Open the story on lcfanfic.com and copy its URL from your browser. A story address looks like this:

Step 2: Download the EPUB

Step 3: Add the EPUB to calibre
Open calibre and select “Add books,” then choose the EPUB you downloaded from WP Downloader.
The story will appear in your calibre library. You can edit its metadata or cover before converting it, or leave the existing information as it is.
You can also open the EPUB in calibre’s e-book viewer to check it before transferring it. The viewer has a “Read aloud” feature for listening on your computer.
Step 4: Convert the EPUB to AZW3
Select the story in your calibre library and choose the option to convert the book. Set AZW3 as the output format, then start the conversion.
AZW3 is a Kindle format. calibre can also convert EPUB files to MOBI or PDF, but this guide uses AZW3.
Amazon’s Send to Kindle service no longer accepts MOBI. Kindles can still open MOBI and AZW3 files copied over USB, so this method does not depend on the Send to Kindle service.
Step 5: Send the story to your Kindle
Connect the Kindle to your computer over USB. After calibre recognizes it, select the converted story and choose “Send to device.”
calibre will copy the file to your Kindle, where you can open it and read it offline.

Getting updated chapters
